I met with Ali on a Monday and discussed what I was looking for. Ali took careful notes, answered all my questions, and told me he would find the homes which met my needs and that we would be able to see them that weekend. During the remainder of the week he guided me through the process of getting qualified and obtaining a per-approval letter. When the weekend came we went and viewed the homes he had found for me, after viewing 3 other condos I decided that the fourth condo was the one for me. That Sunday afternoon we submitted an offer on the 4th condo and waited for the sellers response. With a few minor adjustments to the terms my offer was accepted and we opened escrow the following Wednesday… During the next week Ali helped me get the property inspected, and explained what I should expect in the next thirty days. Even when the escrow company dropped the ball Ali was there to follow up and resolve any issues that came up. Less than a month after the offer, Ali accompanied me to the escrow office and we signed the final paperwork. I have been in my new condo for four months now and I love it. I have recommended Ali to many of my friends and look forward to working with him in the future.
Last year we listed our home with Ali at Century 21 Amber Realty in Torrance. We were worried with the way the market was and wanted to do our research and interview a few agents. Ali notified the other agent that their offer was accepted and we were ready to open escrow. I was worried that this was going to be a big deal, however it really wasn’t. Ali had all of his paperwork in order and even helped the other agent with his clients. Ali promised us a 30-day escrow and sure enough on the 27th day the loan was funded and escrow had closed. Along the way Ali also helped us with the relocation and the moving process. The entire time we worked with Ali we were never confronted with an “issue” that we needed to resolve. It was truly smooth sailing and I know the next time we are in need of an agent, Ali will be my number one choice.

We needed to relocate and we initially found 3 agents to meet with in order to list our home. Ali was the second agent we met with. He was very honest and to the point. When we met he came prepared. He showed us what the neighborhood home values were and what we could reasonably expect. As any homeowner would, we wanted to list at the high and leave a little room to negotiate however Ali advised us against that and explained that we would be better off if we priced to attract attention. We felt that Ali really knew what he was talking about and wasn’t trying to “sell” us, so we decided to go with him and signed the paperwork.
Sure enough with in the first 4 days we had multiple offers including two offers that were actually hire than what we originally want to list at. Ali went over the offers with us and explained the pros and cons of each. We accepted one of the two higher offers a week after we listed the home. We opened escrow and Ali was right there to explain the entire process for us. The best part was that Ali had already taken care of all the disclosures and paperwork that needed to be signed by us and had already told us to get the termite inspection done prior to us accepting the offer.
As soon as we opened escrow we sent all the paper work for to the buyer’s agent. We received a few additional forms to sign and we were ready to close escrow. Over all we were able to list, sell, and move in 45 days. Ali even referred a great moving company that helped us pack the house up and move everything. When we set out to get started we never expected the process to go so smoothly.
Through the entire process we did not have to call Ali a single time to check the status of a single thing. He kept us in the loop and aware of everything we needed to know. Everything went absolutely perfectly to our amazement and we have already referred a few family members to Ali.

I found Ali through Angie’s List. He was one of three realtors we interviewed for the job. The thing that impressed us the most about him was that, while the other realtors tried to scare us into listing our home quickly, Ali recommended waiting to see what a pending sale and another home on the market would do. If the one closed higher than the list price or the other changed to pending at the list price, it would justify a better price for our home. We took his wise advice. The house for sale went into escrow at a great price and we decided to have Ali sell our home.
It was clear from the beginning that he would use every technological tool available to sell our home for the best price possible and never hesitated to follow up with agents who had shown the property. Our home did not have many comps because of it’s relatively large backyard and extra bedroom compared to similar aged town homes in the area. When agents questioned the listing price, he would explain to them why he thought it was fair they would listen to his arguments and would ultimately agree with him. He was always available to answer questions and walk us through the complicated escrow process involving VA approval of our HOA.
He clearly laid out our options at each step of the way and readily gave us an honest opinion when asked. I am convinced that without his market and technological savvy, we would have not gotten enough for our home, to make it worth selling. Likewise, once we opened escrow, we were anxious to start looking at homes to buy, knowing that the market was climbing. He again, recommended that we wait until escrow was further along because an offer contingent on selling a home would to be competitive. We did. Once escrow was close to closing though, he met with us, assessed our preferences and priorities.
Since location was a big deal to us, he created a unique spatial search parameter for us! After just one week of looking he helped us put a lowball offer in on a property that met all our high priority preferences and then, by talking with their agent, analyzing the comps, and continuing to search for other listings, helped us submit a counter offer, still under list, that was ultimately accepted! We are now entering the escrow process again (from the other side this time) and I have no doubt that Ali will be there at every step of the way to calmly answer all of our questions, concerns, and crazy “what ifs”.
I would recommend Ali to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in the South Bay. I would also hire him again, without hesitation, if we are ever in the market for property again!
